Participatory Health Consulting:

I am passionate about transforming healthcare through tools and strategies that engage consumers, patients and caregivers in managing their health. This work is about enhancing relationships, building trust, organizational change management, digital tools, process redesign–all in the service of improving the ability of individuals to care for themselves and their loved ones. • Solve problems using innovative technology and approach, especially those that require bringing patients and caregivers together with designers and staff to build more engaging and personalized products
• Advise and mentor ehealth start-ups on approach to the market, including assessing how to enter the market, who to partner with and how to best focus your product
• Plan an implementation that drives the results you need with attention to training, workflow, marketing, and logistics.

I’m also a writer. I’m energized by hearing and telling stories (see writing), and the way we transform our understanding and our world through storytelling. One aspect of my work is to help healthcare organizations listen to the stories their patients and members tell and understand what those stories say about who they are.
